Bulgaria went in once again last year and it has made it clear that there were no funds available for 2022.
Instead of withdrawing like they did in 2019, they just decided to send a very weak generic entry just to show that they are present.
The BNT Eurovision twitter account has produced more thrill this season than the actual song. A rumour that was posted there and implied that Bulgaria would change their song and artist, bringing back Kristian Kostov, brought their odds from 1000 down to 10 just in a few hours.
