Moldova is one of the very few countries that struggle with the new voting system. When they do qualify though, Top-10 and left-hand side of the scoreboard is the most usual outcome. 

That struggle to qualify and Russia's opening to entries that are not linked to Kirkorov, has turned Moldova to Russia 2.0. You have the option to choose between an alternative entry that Russia sends or the proper Russian entry that Kirkorov would send for Russia. 

Natalia Gordienko returns to redeem herself for the poor result she had back in 2006. Sugar is not exactly a masterpiece but has all that it will need to get it to the Final. Up-tempo, does not take itself seriously but professional, fans love it and Televoting will be its selling point.

It's almost 100% certain to qualify.

Will qualify because... Will be Top-3/5 with Televoting.

 Has Kirkorov's know how and PR.

Will not qualify because... Gordienko performs in a very sexy costume that scandals jurors and viewers. Austria ranks in Top-3 because conservative voters want to punish Moldova...

Interesting Facts about the Running Order: A very balanced slot with 7/12 qualifications but with very good averages especially in Totals and Televoting (7.75 both), slightly lower with Juries (9.17) but we know that this is not what Moldova is eyeing on.

What happens next...: When Moldova qualifies, Top-10 is not out of the question. Especially if Russia or Ukraine or both are out of the Final. Then Moldova will be the proper Russian entry and will attract most of the votes of the eastern bloc. In that case Top-5 will be its absolute ceiling.

Some More Data: We only have a small sample of two entries but it is impressive that Moldova managed to be in the Top-10 both with Juries and Televoting, despite the fact that both entries were not exactly jury baits.
