A Fallen Angel will represent Norway this year! TIX has one of the most interesting stories behind him that will definitely bring some media attention and will help his cause. Mental Health is definitely an issue that people should be talking about more. 

Talking about the actual song, Norway is trying to take advantage of its traditional jury appeal and add some televote love in the mix. I do think that it will be a balanced entry attracting both constituencies. I find the staging on the national final a bit off putting but this is just my personal opinion. 

Norway will be sailing to the Final and what is more important is the ranking that will define its running order.

Will qualify because...has all the prerequisites to finish Top-3/5 both with Juries and Televoting. There is a strong narrative. Great running order. 

Will not qualify because... it didn't go well the last time that someone appeared on stage wearing Angel wings...(Croatia 19'). We all know who the most famous Fallen Angel is and guess what, his name is on the title of the previous entry...

Realistic expectations for the Semi: 3rd -5th

Similar Entries of the Past in the same Running Order? Israel 15' (wings on the shoes - Q), Serbia 15' (song behind a cause - Q), Portugal 17' (Jesus/Divine figure concept - Won).

Interesting Facts about the Running Order: The second best of all running orders, third best with Juries and the best for PV. Norway could not have asked for something better, since we do not have No18 this year which is the absolute best.

Only one of the two slots that have produced 2 winners in the Semis. 

What happens next...: Norway has the potential to do really well and sneak in the Top-10 and maybe a bit higher. Running order will be the key and anywhere between 7-13 and 17-26 will be a good sign for its fate. 

The Televoting appeal will be the key. I reckon that a Top-6/10 Jury is already secured. It could be a dark horse if other countries fail to stage their entries, but for the moment is not there yet.

Some More Data: Norway likes to be on the edge the last few years. Back in 2018 managed to finish 15th even though it won its SF and 2019 managed to win the Televoting but finished 18th with the Juries!!
