Serbia, the country that loves living on the edge. They will either sneak in or just miss out! And this year will be no exception!
Hurricane will try to turn their fans Locos by qualifying to the Final and avoid a premature Hasta La Vista...
They have a challenging task being the fourth upbeat song in the row in the first half and performing just after one of the SF's favourites, Iceland. The good news is that after them there is a series of four downtempo songs that somehow balance their disadvantage.
It will be marginal so every vote will count!
Will qualify because... they have some good friends in the SF, plus some diaspora votes in Switzerland and they may find those precious 1-4 televoting points in random countries.
Will not qualify because... they failed to do it back in 2013 with a similar song from the pimp slot.
Juries have every reason to hurt its chances.
Realistic expectations for the Semi: 9th -11th
Similar Entries of the Past in the same Running Order? Australia 18' (Q).
Serbia has performed ninth twice (15' and 19') and qualified both times (9th and 7th)
Interesting Facts about the Running Order: The best possible slot for Televoting (Average Place: 6.58) with 2 wins.
What happens next...: If Serbia qualifies to the Final, then they will be on autopilot for one more time. 18th-21st with 90-120 points, 30-40 pts from Juries and 60-80 from Televoting. If Croatia is in the final as well, we are looking for a near Bottom-5 result.
A drug dealer is pointing at you with a gun and threatens to kill you if you don't predict the Final Ranking: 18th - 21st
Some More Data: The points' range in 4 Finals is 89-115, one of the most solid countries. Not great, not terrible as comrade Dyatlov would say. Struggles a bit with the Juries missing those top points from the ex-Yugoslav bloc. The televoters though continue to show their love and solidarity.
